Welcome to Woodside, Stoughton, West Sussex
The hamlet of Stoughton is situated in one of the most picturesque valleys in the South Downs National Park.
Woodside makes the most of its elevated position, with views to the south across the valley. Our two ground floor double bedrooms are light and airy with queen sized beds complimented with comfortable bed-linen and feather (optional synthetic) duvets. Both rooms have en-suite bathrooms, walk-in showers, with bath robes, soft towels and a range of toiletries.
Guests should be aware that we have a very friendly young retriever called Willow!
Located to the north of Chichester, Woodside is a peaceful, relaxing place to wind down. It is however, also close to a range of interesting locations and activities.The village pub and restaurant - The Hare and Hounds, is popular with locals and visitors alike. There are a large number of local walks and bridleways, through areas of outstanding natural beauty, including The South Downs Way, The Monarch's Way and The Octagon Way. The top of the track at the rear of the property looks down over the Solent and the Isle of Wight. The city of Chichester, Goodwood Racecourse, the beaches at West Wittering, Bosham village and many other places of interest are all within easy driving from Stoughton.
Woodside has two double bedrooms, located on the ground-floor with en-suite bathrooms. One is a suite with sitting room, Tea and coffee can be made throughout guests' stay. We enjoy a spectacular location with views to the south over the valley so weather permitting, breakfast can be enjoyed on the deck. We like to source food locally where practical, and are happy to consider specific requests if made in advance.There is free WiFi use throughout the property.
